Charlie Kaufman's new film
Synecdoche, New York is tragic, but it reminds me of
Napoleon Dynamite in one important way: both movies are kind of tough to sit through, but definitely entertaining to think about once you've watched them (but I still prefer
Eternal Sunshine and
Adaptation and
Being John Malkovich, which are fun both to watch and to think about).

(another shameless plug)Anyone who wants a real blog instead of this snorefest can head over to esoderica.
i'm going over there and this better be good, or i'm unleashing the sarcasm.
Since when do you -- or any of us -- keep the sarcasm on a leach?
