Thinking on Pink
If you say the word "pink" to me, I think of the color pink, and feel a little fruity, but if you say "Pink Floyd" I think of the cover of Dark Side of the Moon and don't feel fruity at all-- why is that?
If you had been living with us in the 90's instead of dwelling in a whorehouse, killing lizards, and hanging out on signs above highways, "Pink Floyd" would also make you think of Randall "Pink" Floyd and a host of movie quotes would spring to mind.

i saw "dazed and confused" but i really don't remember much from the nineties . . . kind of like i don't remember much from sophomore year.
