I've been blogging long enough that the content of my sentences have exceeded the span my memory, and I'm worried I might repeat myself-- use an idea that I've already used-- can you plagiarize yourself?

Dave...forget about plagiarizing, all you have to do is write ONE sentence a day, can you at least proofread it?
John Fogerty was once accused by his old record label of plagiarizing himself. His solo song "Old Man Down the Road" supposedly sounded too much like one of his CCR songs -- I think it was "Run Through the Jungle." He took a guitar into the courtroom, took the stand, and showed everyone how he composes songs. The lawsuit was thrown out.
