Tennis practice tomorrow is during the eclipse's maximum solar obscuration . . . so we will not be practicing overheads.

why not? you practice overheads when the sun is out, and it's no less dangerous to look at the full sun than at an eclipse.

when the full sun is out, you quickly avert your gaze because it burns your retina. during an eclipse, you might really get a bead on the ball, but you won't realize how much sun damage your eyes are taking?

i don't fucking know! it just seems like you shouldn't look up up at 4 PM tomorrow unless you're wearing special glasses-- you do whatever you want
