I just got home from a 20+ mile hike from the top of Manhattan (207th St) down the western side of the island to Battery Park . . . epic and scenic and my feet hurt.
i regaled the group with tales of that short bar crawl from 89th to the battery. there is no beer on this walk until the end-- we do a lot of sightseeing on this walk and we traced the outer edge, so a lot of meandering and not a direct route. it's fun but kind of brutal . . .

Was this the same bar crawl we went on in 2000?
