Alex had a game out in West Windsor today, so we got
pizza from DeLorenzo's in Robbinsville . . . it is supposed to be
the best "tomato pie" in New Jersey and while I've never had a tomato pie before, so I've nothing with which to compare it, it's damn good stuff: crispy, thin, chewy crust; sweet and delicious sauce, and light on the cheese (which is
under the tomato sauce and condiments).
I've had this before. It's big on Coney Island. In my neck of the woods they call it a grandpa pie (as opposed to a classic nonna/grandma pie).
