The purpose of Wes Anderson's film
The Grand Budapest Hotel is to remind you how funny it is to watch people run around . . . the situation doesn't matter, as long as the camera is far enough away and someone is running away from someone else on a colorful, lavish set (the secondary purpose of the film is simply to look at the sets . . . the colors and details are even better than an episode of
Madmen).
