Just about everyone has the plot of a novel brewing in their head, and a few weeks ago a friend told me his idea: it involved a
Jurassic Park-like resurrection of Jesus Christ, using DNA from the Shroud of Turin, and then there was a Godzilla type monster (I can't remember if that was The Second Coming or the devil or what) and while I can't say that it's any worse than
this idea, perhaps it's okay if some novels remain pipe dreams . . .

I think resurrected Jesus sounds pretty awesome, Dave. Give this guy some credit. My vote for "Book That Never Needed to be Written" is The Celestine Prophecy. Yikes.
i'm giving him credit just by mentioning his plot. never read "celestine prophesy." i'll have to check the wikipedia plot summary.
They should clone multiple Jesuses (Jesi?) and sew them together into a Messianic Centipede.
or a radiation-proof jesus suit
Rapture-proof?
if there's a hell, zman just bought himself a one way ticket.
