It's gotten cold and one of my favorite things to do when it's cold is put on baggy fleece pants and eat a shitload of food, but luckily I've discovered a new dieting technique; I call it "dieting through better posture" and essentially all you need to do is this 1) NEVER weigh yourself, it's not about what you weigh, it's about how you look 2) whenever you look in the mirror, stand up nice and tall and suck in your gut-- this makes you look ten pounds lighter, so that you can sit back and enjoy winter like any good mammal should.

I've been doing the same thing. But I think the extra weight I'm carrying around is making my back and legs ache. I'm still debating if it's the extra weight, my lumpy bed or my chair at work.

definitely your chair at work. a day in bed eating a lot should cure it.

I prefer to weigh myself, and without looking in the mirror and grabbing my bicep, I say to myself, "Wow, I must have put on some muscle."

My other thought was that I need to buy some expensive shoes. But I find it hard to believe a $10 pair of Walmat sneakers made in China could be bad for your back.

cheap sneakers are good for your feet. read "born to run."
