Traffic Makes a Very Small State Feel Much Larger

Our trip to Newport, RI was a blast, but the ride home was not-- it took us seven and a half hours to return to New Jersey-- luckily, Ed and Mel were good company (though Mel left her purse on a chair on the patio of Mystic Market in Flanders and she didn't realize this for an hour and the traffic was so bad that we didn't turn around and she's going to figure out how to have it shipped back to her) so perhaps I'll post some Newport photos and commentary tomorrow, after I've recovered from the trauma of this epically insane drive home.
