I've never seen it because I don't think McFarlane is funny, but people beg you to watch that movie. Not sure if I should watch it to confirm that MacFarlane sucks or watch it so I'm not the only one who hasn't seen it. WPP. out
I enjoyed it a bit. I knew going in it would be juvenile, and I knew there would be a rom-com plot wedged into 90 minutes of juvenilia. I enjoyed the few high points. Speaking of which, partaking in papal ballots beforehand is nearly mandatory. Also, I really loved the Flash Gordon movie when I was a kid. The Sam Jones blow scene had me in stitches.

it's thin on jokes and has a full on rom-com plot. you can certainly skip it.
