We should remember that the Gregorian calendar is a human construct and not get too hung up on it; in this spirit, I'm going to start my New Year's Resolution early this year: from this day forward, I promise to stop being such a coward and cook using higher heat.

low and slow? not the way. and zman, i know for a fact that zwoman is a big fan over here so you better watch yourself.
i had to cook tonight (because i haven't cooked in three months because of soccer) and i didn't turn up the heat enough on the baking of the egg noodles and the crispiness was not thorough. but i tried.
