While Cat and I were hiking this morning, a wasp stung me on the calf-- and after a reasonable amount of swatting and yelping, I think I handled the pain fairly stoically.

You're many things Dave, and many of those many things are admirable qualities. Stoicism is not one of them.
i may have flailed a bit more than necessary and then complained about the sting for 48 hours, but you'll never get me to admit it.
