Facebook Stock Plummets! Dave Buys New Snowboard!

You don't need to read Dave Eggers' overly long and polemical book The Circle to know that Facebook is a vast evil time-suck that trivializes your life, robs you of your privacy, and makes you very stupid (and -- full disclosure -- I just sold some Facebook stock short, so I'm hoping that the rest of humanity reaches this conclusion too, and rapidly . . . and if this Princeton study is any indication, then -- like an infectious disease -- the Facebook epidemic will soon wane, as folks become immune to its infectious qualities and I will make hundreds of dollars).

according to the methodology applied in the princeton study, princeton itself will soon wane. so you might be waiting a bit for that windfall.

if princeton wanes, it can only help rutgers, and thus my property value . . .

Princeton will Wayne? Jersey! I pulled the plug on my Facebook membership after 3 months. I don't like living so publicly.

I have my account but just use it to keep in touch with friends and spy on them. Of course, it's not really spying when some friends broadcast their every thought/movement/breath. Except for the good stuff. Waiting for one of our friends to disclose that they just masturbated to someone else's Facebook profile. That'll clam some folks up.
