A Question Most Americans Are Afraid To Ask

How many plastic cups does a family of four actually need?-- and I am guessing the answer is NOT twenty-nine, which is how many we have . . . and I am thinking that this number is not particularly unusual . . . so what is your count?

We have one. But if you include sippy cups and water bottles then we are definitely in the 20-30 range.

"Need" is hard to gauge, as technically you don't need any, but you'll want some. We have about 80-90. We've had some parties where commemorative cups were made, and now the kids use them for water cups and we use them for go-cups and water cups and watering cans and what-not. If you have a bunch, you may find that you use many of them quite regularly.

How long before Dave's two counters in the column at right have a crossover moment? Yum!

if you partake in family nut shots and vulva kicks than you should have an ample supply

At least 10. They are so much easier to stack in the cupboard.

i was counting kids cups but not water bottles. you need a couple of water bottles. you don't need four incredibly hulk holographic cups and a cup from the circus with an elephant head that opens (but we have them).

i guess i need to be more generous with their uses, like igor, so that we lose and/or destroy them.

Hey, if you need to create customized, branded plastic cups (or anything else) in large quanitities, go here. The company was founded by a friend of mine -- a friend whose family co-owns the Martha Wood cottage with us.

We have zero, but we drink straight from the bottle.
