I Find Your Lack of Faith Disturbing

We didn't get the message, and so Alex wore his Darth Vader shirt on school picture day-- and if he becomes infamous or famous in some way, you can bet someone will dig that photo up and attach some sort of symbolic value to it.

When I was a child, I had Darth Vader Underoos (underwear and tshirt combo)and I wore it all the time, even to school, and when I watched the movie, I would stick my chest out everytime Darth Vader breathed heavy on screen--if Alex turns out like me, my condolences, but it's better than becoming a complete Star Wars fan.

nothing beats my spuds mckenzie (sp?) photo from, i believe, 4th grade. saddest part is, my mom got the message and purposely made me look that way (ask sister h. for the photo).

nothing says cool like a t-shirt advertising alcohol and a stain washed jean jacket in 4th grade (see- i did grow up in the 80s).

the only photo i've seen is the one where you have a mullet-- that's priceless. the spuds mckenzie is just good marketing by your dad!
